Toyota Supra Mk3 ...

In May 1986, Toyota was ready to release its next version of the Supra. The bonds between the Celica and the Supra were cut; they were now two completely different models. The Celica changed to front-wheel drive, utilizing the Toyota "T" platform associated with the Toyota Corona, while the Supra kept its rear-wheel-drive platform. The engine was updated to a more powerful 3.0 200 hp (149 kW) inline 6. Although only available in naturally aspirated trim in 1986.5, a turbocharged version of the engine was introduced in the 1987 model year. The Supra was now related mechanically to the Toyota Soarer for the Japanese market.

With this version Toyota took a big leap in the direction of a more serious high-performance car. Again using subframe, suspension,and drivetrain assemblies from the Z30 Soarer (Lexus SC300/400), test model pre-production started in December 1992 with 20 models,[16] and official mass production began in April 1993

Preface: Team Proceed is one of the most recognizable drift teams in the U.S. We've seen videos of them online but never had the chance to see them in action until Final Bout. Perhaps no one can tell their story better than one of their own members, Ilia Smolov who drives the Cressida in the group. Along with all his other teammates, Ilia has been living and breathing drifting for more than a decade. So without further adieu, here's Team Proceed's story as told by Ilia:

Winter Project- Mk3 supra Twin Turbo

 Hey just new to DriftWorks and though i would post up pictures of my new project. It is a 1992 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. It is a jap import so has the 1g gte engine. At present it is pretty much standard. Well enough chat heres some pics.
