The Audi A6 got a facelift for the 2015 model year. Three engine variants are offered in the UAE - 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder and 3.0-litre supercharged V6. The S6 model has a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine.The 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI comes in front-wheel drive, while the rest enjoy all-wheel drive systems. All the models get a 7-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Bose surround sound, adaptive cruise control, MMI multimedia interface, reverse camera, and adaptive air suspension, as well as 18-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch rims. Optional Valcona leather can be had for the seats, as well as ventilated seats with both cooling and heating and massage feature. Safety features include front driver and passenger airbags, ABS brakes and electronic stability control.

In the first general post from the event I showed you the red JZA80 that they also had, which is a more sedate version of the aero kit fitted to the two cars here.

The Toyota Supra Project Is Moving Forward


What's going on with that Toyota sports car joint venture, long rumored to spawn the next BMW Z4 and Toyota Supra? It feels like it's been in the works longer than the next Dr. Dre album, but today we got some news: it's moving forward, for reals.

 Cooperation on the underpinnings of the vehicles "has moved on to the concept phase and is running according to plan," Munich-based BMW said in a statement to Bloomberg News. A technical feasibility study that began in January 2013 has been "successfully completed."
They report this new midsize sports car is part of a larger partnership between the two companies that will extend til at least 2020. That technical feasibility study is running a little behind, since it was supposed to be completed at the end of last year.

The Toyota Supra is one of the greatest cars to ever come out of Japan and is internationally recognized as a sports car icon. Produced from 1979 until 2001 in Japan (only produced until 1998 in North America), each generation has remained a choice platform for tuners around the world. Every generation came with a high horse power inline six engine either naturally aspired, turbocharged or twin turbo charged. The Toyota Supra engines include the 5M-GE, 7M-GE, 7M-GTE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GE and the notorious 2JZ-GTE. Even today there isn't a more popular generation, sure everyone wants a MK4 Toyota Supra but the MK2 and MK3 Supras have HUGE followings!

Produced from 1982 until 1986 the second generation Toyota Supra (still known as the Celica Supra) came with a inline six 5M-GE with 175 horsepower. It had a boxy shape, flip up headlights and wide fender flares.

Toyota Supra Mk3 History

Toyota Supra Mk3 ...
In May 1986, Toyota was ready to release its next version of the Supra. The bonds between the Celica and the Supra were cut; they were now two completely different models. The Celica changed to front-wheel drive, utilizing the Toyota "T" platform associated with the Toyota Corona, while the Supra kept its rear-wheel-drive platform. The engine was updated to a more powerful 3.0 200 hp (149 kW) inline 6. Although only available in naturally aspirated trim in 1986.5, a turbocharged version of the engine was introduced in the 1987 model year. The Supra was now related mechanically to the Toyota Soarer for the Japanese market.

Again using subframe, suspension,and drivetrain assemblies from the Z30 Soarer (Lexus SC300/400), test model pre-production started in December 1992 with 20 models,[16] and official mass production began in April 1993

 Hey just new to DriftWorks and though i would post up pictures of my new project. It is a 1992 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. It is a jap import so has the 1g gte engine. At present it is pretty much standard. Well enough chat heres some pics.
